Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a manufacturer and distributor of beverages under the Suntory and PepsiCo brands in Thailand, along with Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the leader of health enrichment products under BRAND’s trademark in Thailand and Indochina, continues its social initiative, One Suntory Helping Hands 2024, for the second consecutive year. Through employee-led fundraising, we successfully raised almost 770,000 baht. All proceeds were used to purchase water storage tanks and 2-in-1 water machines (cooler and filter) for schools in need across Ang Thong, Ayutthaya, Rayong, Chonburi, and Saraburi provinces. Additionally, 30 volunteer employees helped improve the canteen and vegetable garden at Wat Si Maha Pho School in Ang Thong Province. They also engaged in activities with students at Wat Chang School in Ayutthaya Province. Ms. Piengchit Sriprasart, Senior Vice President- People & Culture and Corporate Affairs at Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd., representing One Suntory, stated, “Suntory Group encourages employees to contribute to making positive impacts to the communities where we operate, aligning with our core value of ‘Giving Back to Society’ upheld by both companies. One of the key initiatives is the ‘One Suntory Helping Hands 2024’ activity, now in its second consecutive year, which promotes volunteerism and fosters a sense of social responsibility among employees. We empower our employees to organize internal fundraising activities, using the proceeds to support the underprivileged and various charitable organizations. This initiative reflects both companies’ commitment to conducting business while caring for Thai society”. This year’s One Suntory Helping Hands 2024 event, organized by employees of Suntory PepsiCo Thailand and Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand), kicked off with the One Suntory Bring & Buy, a fundraising event in August. The event featured employee booths, charity auctions and lotto, raising almost 770,000 baht. The proceeds were used to purchase water storage tanks, 2-in-1 water machines (cooler and filter), educational supplies and other essential items for schools in need, including Wat Si Maha Pho School in Ang Thong Province, Wat Chang School in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, as well as schools in Rayong, Chonburi, and Saraburi provinces. Additionally, over 30 volunteer employees participated in activities with the students at Wat Si Maha Pho School where they renovated the canteen by cleaning, painting, and replacing old tables and chairs. They also improved the school's vegetable garden, creating students a hands-on agricultural learning space to grow organic vegetables for their school lunches and helping reduce food costs. Volunteers also conducted knowledge-sharing sessions on waste segregation and water conservation for Wat Si Maha Pho and Wat Chang school students. The event brought joy and memorable experiences to all who participated in the activities.
