Vietjet Thailand, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability, successfully organized the 'Fly Green Forest – Mangrove III' event on October 25, 2024, where students, passengers, members, and staff united to plant 10,000 mangrove trees at the mangrove conservation area of Khlong Khian Rat Rangsan School in Phang Nga.

The 'Fly Green Metro Forest - Mangrove' project stems from the airline's 'Fly Green Fund,' established in early 2021 to promote environmental sustainability and preservation. Building on the success of 'Fly Green Metro Forest – Mangrove II' in Petchaburi, the airline has now extended its efforts to Phang Nga.

Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Vietjet Thailand, stated, "Vietjet Thailand is dedicated to environmental sustainability by reducing emissions from flight operations and promoting conservation activities to protect the earth. We are deeply committed to protecting and preserving the environment through initiatives like the Fly Green Fund. Our today’s event, the ‘Fly Green Forest – Mangrove III’ continues our efforts in conserving Thailand's mangrove ecosystems, crucial to biodiversity and combating climate change. We are grateful to all participants who share our vision of safeguarding nature for future generations."

Since the establishment of the Fly Green Fund, Vietjet Thailand has been actively engaged in various environmental projects. These include the 'Garbage Hunter' initiative for cleaning up different areas in Thailand, the 'Fly Green Charity Golf Day,' a charitable golf tournament, the 'Fly Green Metro Forest' project to enhance urban green spaces, and the 'Vietjet Fly Green Charity Concert,' which raises awareness and funds for environmental preservation through concert ticket sales.

Vietjet Thailand’s collaboration with with the Chaipattana Foundation, government and private sectors, educational institutions, passengers, staff, and local communities demonstrates its commitment to long-term sustainability. The 'Fly Green Forest – Mangrove III' in Phang Nga further strengthened the airline’s role as a leader in environmental conservation within the industry.
