Thailand’s art-loving pubic have waited this long for this first-of-its-kind exhibition, we are guessing you will understand the need to wait a few more months. Thailand has not escaped the precautionary measures being imposed to protect the public from the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world. While it’s still unclear FOR how long we will need to self-isolate, its reasonable to assume we won’t be cleared to socialize in May. River City Management and the collector of the of 128 original artworks and memorabilia have agreed to postpone the 14-week exhibition so that people across Thailand and around the region can get up close to these works of 20th Century pop art icon. ANDY WARHOL: Pop Art will now open to the public on the 2nd floor of River City Bangkok on Thursday 2 July, running through until Sunday 18 October 2020. Until then, while people in Thailand and around the region are spending many days and weeks at homes, River City Bangkok is opening itself up digitally to art lovers, collectors and people with an interest in art and culture. ‘RCB AT HOME’ is where you will find all sorts of information about Andy Warhol and Vincent Van Gogh, two of the exhibitions opening during the summer at River City. |
