DBS Denla British School has invested in the future of education for the best outcomes for students, with the construction of two new school buildings. One will be for Senior School students, and the other will be a new auditorium, in order to equip students with the relevant skills on their pathway to the world’s top universities.
11th June 2021 - The DBS Board of Directors, Chairman Mr Arn Pandejpong, Asst Prof Dr Toryos Pandejpong and Dr Temyos Pandejpong, along with the Principal Mr Mark McVeigh and the school’s Senior Management Team, presided over the blessing ceremony at the construction site as an official signal to kickstart the project. The investment for the project is over 800 million baht, and is expected to be completed in time for the 2022-23 academic year.
“Building for the Best - the Road to the World's Top Universities” is the ultimate goal of this new DBS construction project. Both buildings are 6 floors high and cover an area of more than 22,000 square metres. The first building is aimed for Senior School students and consists of a senior library, a career and university consulting centre, science and computer labs, a cooking studio, a 350-seat cafeteria, recreation common rooms, and a multi-purpose courtyard situated between the two buildings. The second building will consist of a 665-seat premium auditorium along with art, drama, and music studios, a business centre and entrepreneurship suite, and a design and technology centre. The building will be known as the ‘creativity complex', as it will help support co-curricular activities and encourage students to become both academically excellent and well-rounded.
