Hotel in cooperation with Chinatown’s Play Art House will feature 28 artists from 9-15 June
ASAI Bangkok Chinatown transforms into a creative art space from 9 to 15 June 2023 with the ASAI Play Art Fest exhibiting works from 28 artists inspired by the theme of sustainability, in which discarded items are turned into art, crafts, and souvenirs.
Presented in conjunction with local gallery Play Art House, the week has lots of fun action including interactive workshops, all spread throughout the hotel to provide an intriguing room-hopping experience in which visits get to meet the artists.
The Paper Art Workshop by J-DA takes place on Saturday 10 June, and the Water Colour Workshop by Supmanee C on Sunday 11 June. Learn how to turn trash into treasure in a mini art workshop running from Saturday 10 to Thursday 15 June.
And what else? So glad you asked! Dazzling light mapping shows will fill the Chinatown sky every night, there’ll be live painting by talented artists and your favourite party DJs to open and close the event.
All events are free, but tickets are needed for some of the workshops, and can be booked at https://www.ticketmelon.com/asaihotels/asai-play-art-fest-2023
