Booking.com is offering a lucky pair of travellers the unique opportunity to stay aboard the Bangkok Booking Bus, for one night only! Reservations start February 20, at 20:00 ICT
Booking.com, the world’s leading digital travel company connecting travelers with the widest choice of incredible places to stay, has created the Bangkok Booking Bus – a self-contained campervan with a distinctive Thai design, located alongside the Chao Phraya River.

As the popularity of alternative accommodation continues to grow, research commissioned by Booking.com revealed that more travelers than ever are looking for unique places to stay that can satisfy their desire to explore different property types. Over two-fifths (42%)* of Thai travelers plan to stay at least once in a unique accommodation – not only to feel inspired but to impress their friends by turning to alternative accommodation types as a way of expressing their individuality.

Available exclusively on Booking.com, and accommodating up to two people for just one night only, this once-in-a-lifetime experience will be situated at Asiatique, The Riverfront with its vast array of night entertainment options, making this a truly unforgettable stay.

Once inside the Bangkok Booking Bus, guests will be greeted with a welcome hamper and enjoy its unique interior, encapsulating some of Bangkok’s most iconic hotspots, making each moment perfectly instagrammable! It also offers a complete range of facilities to provide a comfortable stay.

The Bangkok Booking Bus will be available to book for Saturday, February 22, and reservations will open at 20:00 ICT on Thursday, February 20, for customers to book this one-night-only stay for 2 guests. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. This totally unique staycation on wheels can be booked exclusively on Booking.com here: https://www.booking.com/hotel/th/booking-bus.html?lang=xu
Michelle Gao, Regional Manager at Booking.com says: “With a mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world, we’re proud to be able to present the Thai-inspired Booking Bus in Bangkok. Situated at Asiatique, The Riverfront, we’re delighted to be able to couple this exclusive stay with all that the location has to offer from its night market to amazing dining options, so our travelers will have a truly memorable experience. The Bangkok Booking Bus is just one of the many unforgettable experiences our customers can enjoy, with over 6.4 million listings in homes, apartments and other unique places to stay on Booking.com.”

Once the lucky guests have completed their stay, Booking.com will be donating the bus to Local Alike, a Thai travel social enterprise focusing on local communities, and a 2017 Booking Booster participant who will then make use of this bus in their sustainability journey.
