 | Charity event supporting the humanitarian work of international aid organization CARE in Chiang Mai on March 3, 2019 On the occasion of this year’s 150th Anniversary of Friendship between Thailand and Austria, a special event will be hosted in Chiang Mai: The relief organizations CARE Austria and Raks Thai together with the Austrian Embassy Bangkok will host an event which celebrates Thai and Austrian culture and charity work. A small photo exhibition by German photographer Alexander von Wiedenbeck, covering one of CARE’s projects which supports migrant school children from Myanmar, will be part of the event as well as a concert by the renowned Austrian musicians Agnes Palmisano (vocals) and Paul Gulda (piano). Free admission – a donation for CARE’s school project in Samut Sakhon is kindly requested. The event takes place in The Imperial Mae Ping Hotel and starts at 6.00 pm.
