Evan brings with him almost 17 years of hospitality experience and a passion for service excellence. In his most recent role, Evan was the General Manager of voco Kirkton Park, Australia, a position he has held for the last 4 years.
Throughout his tenure, Evan’s achievements include successfully implementing new concepts for the signature restaurant, leading the hotel out of COVID and back to full recovery, surpassing 2019 revenues and profitability levels, and driving a vibrant and on-trend food and beverage offering in one of Australia premium food & wine destinations.
In addition, Evan has helped diversifying the market mix in his property to help position the hotel as no. 1 in the competitor set and establish its reputation as the leading boutique luxury accommodation provider in the Hunter Valley.
Evan holds several certificates in business and leadership management and has a keen interest in languages including Thai and intends to develop his capability more extensively. In his spare time, Evan loves to play golf and has a healthy obsession with maintaining a perfectly manicured lawn along with cooking all types of different cuisines at home.
