After building up a strong brand awareness through two major locations in the vibrant Thonglor area of Bangkok (Piman 49 and EmQuartier), followed recently by an innovation Lab on Soi 16, D’ARK is opening its 4th and largest restaurant in Bangkok, at the world landmark Iconsiam.
D’ARK at Iconsiam was thought of and decorated as a “Home out of Home”, a fantastic hang-out place for family and friends who want to enjoy a mouthwatering meal together or mingle around a great coffee. And make themselves exactly like at home.
D’ARK at ICONSIAM, 425 square meters, located at Veranda zone, spans over two floors: G and M, featuring two bars. On the river level a cosy mixology bar, on the mezzanine a specialty coffee and whisky bar, both showing amazing front row views on the river, Bangkok skyline and the daily music and light show by Iconsiam. D’ARK is very excited to introduce it first Josper charcoal oven, and the one and only in Iconsiam: meat-lovers will rush there for the addictive light smoked flavour of their favorite T-bone.
The feeling of “Home out of Home” reflects in the confluence of their interior design, the artworks and the creativity put in this new project. D’ARK team worked with famous Paris-based artistic-painting Austin Redfield-Tondini and Violette Bonis-Dattner, who sketched idiosyncratic lines and color-tones on wall canvas, using neutral palettes. D’ARK also collaborated with world-renowned lighting brands studios Apparatus and Bomma: you will adore the Clouds hanging from the 6-meter-high ceiling, the wooden bowls carved by the Turkana tribe of Northern Kenya or the fairy-mouth-blown bubbles hanging in the air on the mezzanine.
D’ARK terrace is undoubtedly going to be your new hot-spot in town: subtly sheltered the surrounding landscaping, you will take place in one of the lavish outdoor sofas, enjoying the buoyant life of the river of Kings throughout the day, while sipping your favorite drink pairing your most desired comfort food. The moment the cocoon-styled-lamps by Gloster are turning on, announces the soon-to-start first show at 6.30pm which you would not want to miss for anything!
