Dewar's Highball Challenge Thailand is a bartender competition offering prize money and a trip of a lifetime to the winning bartender.
Bangkok, 7 August 2023 – BACARDI's blended Scotch whisky Dewar's celebrated the launch of their Dewar's Highball Challenge at The Bar at The House on Sathorn with bartenders and the media.
Andre Palaeri, Brand Ambassador Thailand, introduced himself, followed by Mike Cheong Jit Hao, Brand Advocacy SEA, explaining the rules of Dewar's Highball Challenge Thailand. The winner will receive THB 34,000 in cash and a paid trip to Japan.
Bartenders from establishments that have alcohol sale licenses (cocktail bars, nightclubs, restaurants, hotels and cafés) are allowed to participate in the competition. After introducing and explaining Dewar’s Highball Challenge, Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn, World Champion, one of the most influential bartenders and Co-founder of renowned bars: Find the Locker Room, Mahaniyom Cocktail and a recently-opened bar, Nuss Bar, took the stage and started a Master Class about the definition of highball and ways to concoct a perfect highball.
As a representative of Mahaniyom Cocktail Bar, Ronnaporn later took over The Bar at The House on Sathorn and served three amazing highballs: Coconut, Tamarind, and Kaffir Lime.
