On this special occasion, Yào Rooftop Bar will be transformed into Les Bains, the legendary plush bar of Paris. Guests will be treated to the finest selection of special-recipe cocktails concocted by famous Les Bains bartenders Eric Sabloniere and Benjamin Cousseau. Les Bains will also offer a range of souvenirs from its concept store including its recently released perfume collection. Yào Rooftop Bar will recreate the glamorous atmosphere of Les Bains, leaving guests feel as if the Paris bar along with its bartenders has just been moved to its new address on Surawongse Road. Les Bains is a posh hotel in the heart of Paris. Founded in 1885, it began life as a bathhouse incorporating an eclectic mix of healing rituals of Turkey, Russia, and Japan. In 1978, Les Bains was extensively refurbished and redecorated with black-and-white tiles by famed designer Philippe Starck. The establishment was then renamed Les Bains Douches and became Paris’s popular hangout spot for artists, thinkers, intellectuals and socialites. In 2015, Les Bains was given a complete makeover and a new lease on life as a hotel housing a bar, restaurant, club and concept store. |
For the French, Les Bains is a mythical place – awash with history and art – recognized for its Parisian crazy nights. Through the decades, Les Bains bar has attracted the party crowd with its exclusive list of cocktails that use the finest ingredients. Since its inception in 1885, Les Bains has sourced top-notch ingredients for its cocktails from the same supplier, Giffard. The bar and the supplier share the same cocktail philosophy: Cocktail mixing is the art of blending the finest ingredients to create the best drinks. A cocktail is a personal expression into which the bartender has poured all of his heart and soul.
Responsible for creating Les Bains’s repertoire of acclaimed cocktails is Mr. Eric Sabloniere. The Swiss-French bar manager has developed a passion for food and drinks since a young age. After graduating from the Glion Institute of Higher Education, a hospitality management school in Switzerland, he spent years honing his hospitality skills at various places including notable nightclubs and big festivities in France where he served as a head bartender. At Les Bains, he’s entrusted with the task of upgrading the bar’s cocktails and service.

| Another bartender of Les Bains is a Frenchman, Benjamin Cousseau. The young man has been passionate about the art of mixing up drinks since his teens. In 2017, he was France’s WORLD-CLASS cocktail champion and later represented his country at the world’s biggest cocktail competition’s world final. He’s a globetrotting bartender who has collaborated with bars in many countries. His goal is to be the best in the chosen field. “One Cocktail Evening with LES BAINS PARIS” is on November 23. Eric Sabloniere and Benjamin Cousseau will be creating a special menu of 4 cocktails. The first three are under the theme “3 Cocktails – 3 Spirits – 3 Concepts”. They are aptly named “DÉCADENCE”, “FAME” and “EXCESS” respectively. The last one titled “LE PARFUM COCKTAIL”, inspired by Les Bains’ perfumes, will be created specially for the evening.
