Welcome the month of Mother’s Day with the heartwarming atmosphere participated by sweet celebrity moms, children and family in the workshop to create art pieces at the world-class kids playground kingdom ‘Playmondo’ the hub gathering modern play zones of the time with international safety standard, when Hansa Kraikosol, Chief Executive Director, Playmondo Group, collaborated with painting guru, Matunart Sosothikul to run a painting workshop to leverage children imagination. And Pediatrist, Chanita Phichaphop was invited to suggest proper parenting to suit each age bracket and tips to choose activities that help develop children to grow up efficiently for famous celebrity families, such as Praewpreeya Jumsai Na Ayutthaya and sons; Porsche Yossawat and Praise Sirapakorn Charoensetthakij, Varithorn Kanpaibool with her husband Aiem Pipatchukiat and little daughter, Ira Pipatchukiat, including aunty and nephew, Ascha - Achira Charoenrasameekiat at Playmondo, Central World, Forum Zone, 2nd floors.
Playmondo’ is a learning playground for children from 1-13 years of age under the concept ‘Play, Plearn (Fun), Learn, Roo (Know) where children can enjoy their adventure in 4 play zones inspired by the nature surroundings such as desert, ocean, volcano, and jungle. While podiatrist, Chanita Phichaphop has suggested the parenting tips and implementation of activities to help develop children in each age bracket that, ‘Family is key to generate good children development in order to gain their trust and ensure them. The family activity is very crucial in creating relationship among family members and developing children in 4 key facets; physical, intellectual, emotional, and mental development including social development to spend their lives with others happily. Children development from birth to seven years can be divided into two completely different periods. The first period is from new born infant until 2 years called ‘Sensory Motor Stage’ when children will learn from their sense and they will develop rapidly as seen from changing position from laying down to sitting, standing and starting to walk, including improving learning, problem solving skills, arranging the action by thinking before doing based on their purpose of curiosity, even without role model. This will demonstrate their highly developing memories during 18-24 months until they reach ability in face recognition. Children in this period need intensive care as the time of physical improvement on major and minor muscles from changing position from lay down until they can walk. They need good support in physical development and learning about objects around them so parent should play and talk to them every day, also give them gentle massage after bath to stimulate the sensory system. Parent can also find some toys such as colorful mobile, toys with different textures, or Fingers Food which they can put in the mouth, to activate learning. Most important tool for this age is the relationship of parents and children to generate trust on them, allowing them to learn whom they feel safe with so intensive care is needed by caretakers. Next, 2-7 years old period when they will learn more and always have questions with more strength in muscles development. They start to play, run, or climb so the key is awareness on safety when they have activities. For learning, children at this age believe that everything is living creature (Animism), and will do the role play with dolls in roles of family members and generate real life story. The will start to connect two incidents to occur on rational basis.
Parents are able to help them improve through storytelling implemented with ethic and morality and keep in mind that children at this age have many questions so parent should give them creative answer and let them think further with their imagination. At this age the painting works are created with their imagination but we can ask what pictures they are drawing. Parents can always ask what they are drawing, give them compliment and encourage them to activate their imagination and self-confidence.’

Painting is one of the activities to enhance children development in learning and expressing their emotion. There’s no right or wrong in art. If parents want to activate the kids’ imagination, they can assign the exercise vaguely, for example, tell them to draw the see and let them think with imagination what can be seen at the sea and let them create drawing style freely. Or if parent s want them to concentrate, just draft a picture and let them fill the colors in the blank space. Parents should take good care, support and give complement to encourage them in expressing their imagination and feel confident with their art works.’

Firstly, beautiful celebrity mom of two boys, Praewpreeya Jumsai Na Ayutthaya said ‘My two sons have different character and interest because of their age. The first son, Porsche - Yossawat Charoensetthakij is now 6 years old. He is passionate with singing and dancing. And the second one, Praise - Sirapakorn Charoensetthakij is 4 years old and he likes art and painting. Thus I support their learning on their preference by sending my first boy to dance school and a little one to take drawing and molding class. If we have free time or vacation we will go out for sports or take a field trip together as travel also helps them learn and open their world. I always explain them everything when we have activities together focusing on exchanging ideas with question and answer to let them think and express themselves confidently.’
Next, a beautiful mom, Varithorn Kanpaibool said, ‘My daughter, Ira Pipatchukiat is now 2 years and 5 months old. This age bracket is called ‘Terrible twos’ when kids are very stubborn and naughty. They are also very confident, think and decide by themselves more. When my girl is frustrated and doesn’t behave well, I will stay calm and talk to her nicely to calm her down. This period she loves active hobbies so I will take her to swim, go to the zoo, or to the park for running with the entire family, father, mother and kid. We always have activities together, or after school I will encourage her creativity with painting and tell her bedtime stories with moral lesson.’
Lastly, sweet aunty and nephew, Ascha Charoenrasameekiat said, ‘My first nephew, Achi - Achira Charoenrasameekiat is now 5 years old and he is naughty like boys in general. He is talkative with his self-esteem. When we go out for a trip, he always asks questions in a car all the time. I often answer his questions. Now he is interested in piano so I support them by taking him to the class and always give him compliment. His mom gives him freedom to choose activity he likes and always support him. We often find the activities together, by taking him out for learning apart from school, such as to the Planetarium where we have a great fun with non-stop questions and answers (laugh).’
