In this occasion, Mook organizes “The Opening Exhibition of MookV Shop” to celebrate the opening of MookV Flagship Store located on the 2nd floor of Gaysorn Tower featuring the exhibition reflecting the DNA of the brand.
MookV Flagship Store is located on the 2nd floor of Gaysorn Tower. It is set up as an art gallery that puts together masterpiece arts in the form of bags. The shop is neatly and luxuriously decorated while providing warm atmosphere in rose gold and white tone added with pictures done by Mook using Appliqué technique at the center of the shop as well as the inspiration of buoy in the sea to create decoration piece using treads and fabric to add fun element to the shop and to please art and design lovers.
“Mook – Ploenchan Vinyaratn”, designer, founder of the brand, and Art Decorator, explain the beginning of the brand that “The brand originated from my passion in art since I was young. I always wanted to work in textile business as I prefer to create my masterpiece works delicately from scratch. I took class in Textile Design at Central Saint Martins in the UK. After graduation, I worked in hotel and interior design to collect my experience before starting Beyond Living, the company offering arts focusing on weaving products. With the obsession in the beauty of weaving and fashion, I would like to introduce the beautiful art mixing designing and weaving technique through MookV bags using various materials under the concept of Art in Your Hand or Textile artist creating art works through weaving technique”

Razzle Dazzle is inspired by Mook’s artwork using black and white “Dazzle” pattern which is usually seen on British battleships during World War 1 to make it difficult for the opposition to track the speed of the battleship. It was reused again in World War 2 by the US Navy to prevent the attack from opposition fighter planes. The pattern is used as the heart of the design under the concept of The Oblique Straight Line added with fresh colors and left and right slant weaving fabric that is the unique technique of the brand. Each bag is made by hand including clutches, shoulder bags, cross-body bags, and tote bags.
Kadita is inspired by Mook’s artwork using upcycled yarns including leftover yarns weaved by hand into wave pattern carpet to reflect the beauty of Dewi Kadita, the ancient Javanese princess who was renowned as the Queen of the Ocean. The masterpiece work is the inspiration for small-size Round Crossbody Embroidery bag.
