2018 MISS UNIVERSE® by TPN 2018 Co., Ltd., the official licensee of the 2018 MISS UNIVERSE® competition, led by Somchai Cheewasutthanon, CEO of TPN 2018 Co. Ltd., Piyaporn Sankosik, Executive Director of TPN 2018 Co. Ltd., and Narong Lertkitsiri, Executive Director of TPN 2018 Co. Ltd. and The Miss Universe Organization, warmly welcome press to capture the moment of the global Miss Universe representatives learn more about Smile Train’s programs and establish the need for more support.
The titleholders will also participate in an arts and craft activity where they will decorate picture frames for Smile Train’s patients who are scheduled to have cleft surgery. The frames will be given to the children so that they can display their own beautiful smiles in the frame post-surgery.
Smile Train’s charitable partnership with The Miss Universe Organization has helped raise awareness for children with clefts in the developing world. Since the beginning of the partnership in 2016, it has provided opportunities for the reigning Miss Universe and international titleholders to get involved with Smile Train’s global initiatives in the 85+ countries where the charity helps children.
