González Byass is a family-owned, collection of wineries founded in 1835 which spans across Spain’s most important wine producing regions and was awarded “Wine Enthusiast 2018 European Winery of the Year” In 2016 the company expanded its vinous interests outside of Spain for the first time, acquiring Viñedos Veramonte in Chile. Veramonte has built a reputation for being one of Chile’s top wine producers, not just for its vineyards but also for its wines. The brands Neyen, Primus, Ritual and Veramonte are distributed in 47 countries around the world, with an especially strong presence in the US and China. Veramonte comprises two wineries and 600 Has of organic vineyards situated in some of Chile’s most renowned regions, such as Casablanca, Colchagua and the unique terroir of the Apalta Valley. The “12th Bangkok Grand Wine Tasting & Chile Wine Trade Show” at Renaissance Hotel in Bangkok saw VERAMONTE wines for the first time displayed in Thailand, displayed by MR.
