Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit took center stage on Thursday, December 7, 2023, hosting the grand unveiling of the very first International Art Mail Exhibition in Thailand. The private collection of Ambassador Michel Bohbot and Madame Sophie Bohbot captivated art enthusiasts and esteemed guests, creating an extraordinary cultural experience in the hotel's lobby.
In an era where traditional letter writing has become a rarity, the Art Mail Collection showcased at the exhibition seeks to revive the essence of postal art. Curated by the renowned French collector, Michel Bohbot, the collection features unique artworks commissioned from 74 prominent artists hailing from 32 countries across the globe. This marks the very first time these masterpieces will be presented in Thailand, following exhibitions in major capitals across Europe, America, Africa, and Asia.

Ambassador Michel Bohbot, a former UNESCO diplomat, collector, and Art Historian, expressed, "If somebody asks me what words come to my mind about the show, I will tell: Art, Beauty, Creation, Education, Joy, Pleasure, and also Promotion, Peaceful, Sharing, Caring, International, Colors, Balance, Luxury... And if the same person asks me to explain my choice of doing this important event in this place, I will simply tell her that the same words can perfectly and exactly describe the philosophy and targets of this tremendous hotel."
