ibis Styles, Accor Group’s on-trend and playful brand, has launched its global photo exhibition #ibisStylesByUs in collaboration with the Spanish photographers Anna Devis (@Anniset) and Daniel Rueda (@DrCuerda). Its aim is to awaken the inner creativity in each of us by encouraging the public to share their most creative design photo.
ibis Styles, along with Anna + Daniel, invited followers and fans to unleash their creativity, play with design and post their best work on Instagram with the hashtag #ibisStylesByUs between June 11 - 25, 2019. Participants were guided by the original and innovative video tutorials shared by Anna + Daniel. Participants were given only one rule – be creative!
We are very grateful to ibis for letting us take part in this project. Our task was simple but very challenging – to create five original images inspired by the creativity of ibis Styles hotels, which would motivate people to create their own stories. We were incredibly impressed by the huge response to the #IbisStylesByUs! competition. We knew there were a lot of creative spirits among those who follow our work, but we didn’t expect either the quantity or the quality of the images we have received.” said Anna Devis @anniset
Daniel Rueda @drcuerda added, “We have always said that creativity is like a language we all speak fluently in one way or another, irrespective of where we come from. The proof is in the sheer volume and variety of the images we received. It will be impossible for me and Anna to forget the incredible response to our ibis Styles project. Although we set the challenge for others to create something, I think it is now us who have been inspired!”

Since September 18, an exhibition has been touring a selection of ibis Styles hotels around the world. Dedicated to originality, creativity and style, it features photographs by Anna and Daniel, as well as the 11 winning shots. Each of these exhibition launches will be accompanied by events to inspire guests and customers in attendance, creating an ibis Styles experience for them.
The exhibition began touring on September 18 at ibis Styles Barcelona City Bogatell in Spain. In total, 9 of the brand’s flagship hotels will host this exhibition, which is open to guests and the general public:
Locals and visitors to Bangkok can discover the exhibition from today until 12th November 2019 at ibis Styles Bangkok Khaosan Viengtai.
