The night of celebration was under the theme “Sneakers Paradise”. Parc Paragon square was transformed into sneakers lovers’ paradise, with special booths from global brands like Vans, Reebok, Nike, Puma and adidas offering limited edition items and cool photo corners. Sneaker cleaning product brand Crep brought its items to turn back the clock for participants’ sneakers free of charge. DJ Nice played funky music to add liveliness to the event and for the participants to move their feet to, before a special show by DEF-G in a drum battle between Western and Thai cultures. Next was a sporty fashion show that mixed street fashion elements using various items in JD Sports to create more than 40 looks on the runway to give endless style inspirations. The night wrapped up with a performance by famous rapper “Way” Parinya Intachai, who was joined by YOUNG BONG and top rappers from other countries like JOE FLIZZOW, SONAONE, YUNG RAJA, NAYAKA and DJ CZA to welcome the arrival of JD Sports Siam Center. The event was joined by famous faces and celebrities such as Chadatip Chutrakul, Pornpawee Neerasingh, Sophida Jiratritarn, Vasuwat Kuhapremkit, Sakrankamon Uthaisri, Amena Gul, Taya Rogers, Kongpat Sakdapitak, Napasasi Surawan and Pornpan Sittinawawit “Thailand has been such a promising market. Each country in this region has proven to be fruitful and contributes to the brand's overall global success. We are ecstatic over the launch of our fourth store in Bangkok and look forward to expanding further throughout the country” said Lucynda Burgess, Brand Liaison Director &Head of JD Asia Pacific.
Active fashionista Sakrankamon Uthaisri shared her feelings, “Today is great fun, especially the rappers’ show because I’m a big fan of hip-hop. Everyone was all dressed up so the atmosphere was very cool. I’m into street-chic style, and I’m crazy about sneakers - I own more sneakers than high heels. JD Sports is a real paradise for sport and street fashion lovers.”
