Music lovers are in for a treat as Shaken Not Broken Thailand is presenting its third fundraising event with delightful 3-course dinner, fine single malt scotch whisky Glen Grant and a mini concert by Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) – a sensational combination of sensorial delights that makes for a night to remember.
Shaken Not Broken Thailand, initiated earlier in June by CAMPARI GROUP and Alchemy Thailand to lend support to hospitality workers all over Thailand, shakes things up with their third event in the year-long fundraising project. Blending multi-sensorial experiences with food, drinks and music, the Mini Classical Concert is on Saturday 29 August at The Sukhothai Bangkok Hotel with limited tickets at 3,000 baht already available.
“We’re very honored and glad to become part of this event,” Chayuth Kaivikai, celloist of TPO enthuses. “As musicians, our task is to entertain, and it is even more fulfilling when you can do that plus help raise fund for charity that will benefit many others affected by COVID-19 pandemic.”
Chayuth will be joined by seven other band members, namely violinists Patis Intaramaha, Naphatipa Preechanon, Warubon Chongtrong, Korakot Yokcharoen, Bhakasak Jaowanaridhi and violists Janjao Nipbhaya and Krittaboon Doktoey in an hour-long concert with a repertoire of classical favorites as well as familiar pop tunes delivered with soothing sounds of string instruments.

The evening’s setlist comprises numbers like “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, K. 525 – Allegro” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “A Lover Concerto” by Johann Sebastian Bach, “Salut D’Amour” by Edward William Elgar and greatest hits such as “Siboney” by Ernesto Lecuona, “Imagine” by John Lennon, “Over the Rainbow” by Edgar Yipsel Harburg and many more.
“I believe that our selection of songs will set a pleasant tone to the evening. Whether you’re a classical music connoisseur or simply a music lover, you’ll enjoy the concert and find the overall experience enriching and delightful,” Chayuth says. “Also, you get to help raise fund to the cause, which I think will make the evening an even more memorable experience.”
