Juste Debout is an international and annual dance competition that has enjoyed a reputation of being a platform for dancing talents to showcase their amazing performances since the beginning in France in 2002.
This year, Thailand has successfully grabbed the right to hold this competition for the Southeast Asian Region in Juste Debout Bangkok 2019, which will provide street dance enthusiasts with great opportunities to showcase their talents under four major categories: hiphop, locking, popping, and house. This event will take place at MCC Hall, The Mall Bangkapi, Bangkok, Thailand, on 19 January 2019, and the final four teams from 250 participating teams will represent Thailand and compete for the World Champion title in Juste Debout Paris 2019 to be held in France.
This event is meant not only to serve as a platform for the search of outstanding dancing talents but to provide special opportunities to a total of 1,000 disadvantaged young people and children in Thailand by enabling them to be audiences who will experience amazing performances and stunning enthusiasm right at the venue, with hopes to inspire them to become professional dancers in the future. The press conference will be attended by Mr. Kayasit Udomkhunnatham, the rights-holder of the competition in Thailand, and The famed dancers from the ‘Step Up’ film and judges at this event - Jonathan ‘Bionic’ Bayani who will deliver fantastic street dance performances together with the team from Indelible Footprint Thailand, a program that aims to nurture young dancing enthusiasts in Thailand by professionals with rich global experience. The press conference will also feature famous artists with dancing talent such as Sara Nalin, Chin Chinawut, and Kru Nae Nae, to add more excitement to the venue.
