EGO., emphasizes the “everyday wear luxury with a twist” philosophy with signature tailoring, combined with an experimental use of various fabrics on the runway. Soft contemporary brand tibeag injectes vigor into the fashion show with their combination of delicate details and colours along with graphic elements.
The Korean Fashion Association supports promising Korean fashion designers to strengthen their global competitiveness and to internationalise. Young Soo Park, Division Director of KFA said, “This year, aside from Fashion Capitals such as Paris and New York, we are also focusing our programs in developing markets such as Singapore, Russia, and Thailand. Thailand is an important gateway to Asia, and we’re thrilled to hold our debut K-Collection SS19 show here.”
“LIE was introduced for the first time in Paris. So far, we have more than 16 branches worldwide. The main concept of LIE is modern and adaptative. I named Spring/Summer 2019 collection as “No border, just horizon.” Inspired by Amelia Earhart the first American female flying over Atlantic Ocean, the collection presents positivity and multiplies happiness; it features colorful schemes such as pink, blue, and green to reflect the vivid landscape as we are looking down from the sky. Light colors give a sense of freedom and simplicity. I also includes yellow to represent the sun light as it crosses over the clouds. The fabric in this collection is light to fit torridity. This year, I am really glad joining the K-COLLECTION fashion show and looking forward to bringing more inspiration to Thailand in the years following,” said Lee Chung Chung, the founder of LIE.
