KIIZE, a Thai brand that specialises in producing leather goods with unique style, celebrates their success by launching its new boutique shop at The Emporium Department Store and unveils the latest collection designed for stylish women
Founded in 2016, KIIZÉ is committed to presenting high quality handbags and distinctive aesthetic: celebrating uniqueness through practical modern lines and dynamic use of colours and fine materials. We set out to engage with Thai local artisans, and use their exceptional savoir-faire to express our distinctive feminine take on modernity.
KIIZÉ is established by a group of friends: Ariya Tejapaibul as Managing Director; Vilasinee Suralertrungsri, a Chelsea College of Art graduate, as Design Director; and Peam Panupattanapong as Art Director. With the founders’ firm grasp of being Thai but having been living abroad, KIIZÉ is a well-turned blend of contemporary designs with attentive twists to luxurious materials. Sourcing materials from local farms, like glossy croc leather and pythons, mixed with imported calfskin, KIIZÉ bags are designed to be timeless yet practical. Our leather is treated with a special process, making our handbags extremely light. None of our bags are heavier than one kilogram, making it perfect for the stylish urban woman.
Formulating a fresh interpretation of style and functionality, KIIZÉ creates modern designs that suit modern urban women and bear high quality in every single detail.
The brand owner talked about the inspiration behind the latest collection. “In this collection, our bags are inspired by various cities that I have visited. The Kyoto bag is inspired by geisha silk pouches. The Oslo is inspired by Scandinavian landscape and architecture.”
The new collection unveiled at this event includes shoulder bags, handbags, and clutches in various designs such as the Frankfurt, Passport Holder DC, Mini Wallet ‘Monaco’, ‘Oslo’ calf, ‘Oslo’ Python, ‘Mini Kyoto’, ‘Kyoto’, and ‘Kyoto’ Python. The launch of the new shop was warmly attended by celebrities, actresses and fashionistas who came to congratulate KIIZE on this new milestone and to check out the latest collection.

Leading Thai actress Apitsada Kruakongka explained why she fell in love with KIIZE. “The design appeals to modern women who are unique and not afraid to be themselves. It is a Thai brand that has its own signature style. Every time I carry a KIIZE bag, I feel confident. In this collection, I like the Mini Kyoto in limited edition. If I carry it on a casual day, it adds a hint of luxury, but it can also be matched with a formal dress. On most days, I carry a shoulder bag in a moderate size and neutral color so it can match any outfit and occasion. On some days, I feel a little edgy and choose something striking. KIIZE has every design I look for.”
