At Lancaster Bangkok history melds with modernity, international design and local inspiration. The modern amenities at the hotel blend effortlessly with classic and contemporary design elements, creating a comfortable oasis in the middle of a vibrant commercial area in the heart of Bangkok near many exciting attractions.
The hotel’s architecture and finely crafted textures were selected to echo traditional local architectural elements: silk, marble, wood and glass. The infusion of traditional motifs, elegant detailing and carefully selected colour palettes combine to create a contemporary five star feel infused with authentic Thai touches. The result is a celebration of timeless Thai design, which sets the Lancaster Bangkok apart from the standard formula of large chain hotels.

Lobby The design of the hotel interior plays with light and texture. The hotel is open and fluid, with natural light-filled spaces that create a relaxing yet energising retreat. The first eye catching element is an expanse of marble. A mixture of Italian Carrara and Turkish Emperador, the highlight of the marble work is the start of the staircase. The two curved sections are carved from solid blocks of marble, each weighing almost 800 kilogrammes. The interior is adorned in lavish shades of black, red, white, yellow and green. The period-inspired lobby features 2,500 pieces of “pla-ta-pien”, a Thai art form which symbolises prosperity and abundance. The floor is decorated with shiny marble in a stylized star pattern. The dome of the atrium is 60m high and allows natural daylight to flood the interior. Guest rooms Each room maintains a balance between interior design and functionality. The guest rooms feature an inviting, warm earth-tone design that invokes a sense of comfort. The yellows, browns, greens help turn your room into a cosy retreat. Every one of the rooms features a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of Bangkok. | Siam Brasserie Decorated in a charming colonial style, Siam Brasserie features a mix of Thai style and modern influences. Classic Thai style windows are decorated on the wall to create a comforting warm ambience. The brass horse statue at the front of Siam Brasserie is dedicated to the memory of Tuang Sihanatkathakul, the founder of the Landmark Lancaster Hotel Company. Lancaster Bar Blending contemporary elegance with classic charm, the bar is brimming with great appeal. The casually-chic bar evokes the warm setting of a cool gathering place. The main design ele-ment of the bar is the solid brass bar top which adds a classic look to a modern bar.
