MAP ACTIVE GROUP Hosts STEVE MADDEN's Mini-Fashion Show Celebrating the Return of the Brand to Thailand

Map Active Group, the sole importer and distributer of STEVE MADDEN products in Thailand, organized a mini-fashion show, STEVE MADDEN: REFLECT, LOVE, GIVE.

The event was arranged to officially announce the return of the globally-popular female shoe brand to Thailand. Mint Chalida Vijitvongthong, together with other notable celebrities, joined the event at STEVE MADDEN, M floor, Siam Paragon. 
Mr. Deepak Tomar, Country General Manager of Map Active Group, gave the welcome speech. On the stage, besides the STEVE MADDEN mini-fashion show participants, was Mint Chalida, one of the most famous Thai actresses, who gave a talk on her personal taste in fashion. Other celebrities attending the event included Metal Sukkhao, Note Panayanggool, M.R. Mannarumas Yukol and other popular trendy fashion influencers.

The combination of fashion conscious women with different styles created a welcome ambiance at the event, which positioned STEVE MADDEN as an international brand that can reach a wide range of target groups. It signified the important return of a shoe brand that every women should own. Moreover, with the return of STEVE MADDEN, Map Active Group has adjusted its pricing to support the fans who want to shop throughout the country.

The brand has provided us with an important advantage in addition to our existing customers - a large number of excited Thai fans. There is a tremendous amount of enthusiasm out there as word has spread about our store openings. To reach new customers, the variety of products in each collection of STEVE MADDEN makes things very easy. There are a variety of different styles available for young girls through to professional working women, and the products sold out quickly."

Established in 1990 in New York, STEVE MADDEN has become one of the most successful shoe brands in the 21st century. Mr. Steve Madden, the designer and businessman, has been responsible for the designs and is considered an important trendsetter in the global shoe market over the past 30 years. In each STEVE MADDEN collection, there are a variety of styles from sandals, high-heels to sneakers. At present, STEVE MADDEN has over 770 shops located in 67 countries around the world.
STEVE MADDEN has expanded its presence to Thailand. The 10 shops are located at Siam Paragon, ICONSIAM, Emporium, The Mall Bangkapi, Central Chidlom, CentralWorld, Central Ladprao, Central Bangna, Central Phuket and Central Pattaya. In 2019, Map Active Group has plans to open five more STEVE MADDEN shops in Thailand at Central Pinklao, Central Silom Complex, Central Chiangmai, Central Westgate and Central Eastville.

"With over 18 years as a professional distributor and experience looking after  brands in diverse categories, we saw the strong potential of STEVE MADDEN in the consumer market in Thailand. After being granted distribution rights at the end of 2018, this year, our goal is to make it easier for STEVE MADDEN's customers to conveniently find the shops and own the products," added Deepak Tomar.
