Mercedes-Benz Thailand joins hands with all other Thais in battling with COVID-19 by inviting Mercedes-Benz customers to post photos with your Mercedes-Benz as the vehicle’s headlamps are on while writing a message to support medical staff and sharing them on your social media of your choice (Facebook or Instagram) from now until 31 May 2020 with #ShineForTomorrow #MercedesForTomorrow #MercedesBenzThailand. Mercedes-Benz will donate 500 baht for each post. And when the campaign ends, Mercedes-Benz expects to donate 2,000,000 baht to four hospitals that are currently at the front and center in taking care of patients infected with coronavirus including Siriraj Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, Chulalongkorn Hospital and Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute. Mercedes-Benz hopes that the donation should help the hospitals with future research on COVID-19 vaccine.
Mr. Roland Folger, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited, said “As we have monitored the COVID-19 situation very closely, we have seen that medical staff had to deal with more and more challenging situation during the outbreak. Although the number of people infected with coronavirus have increased in a smaller amount than before due to the government’s policy that includes closure of risky locations and social distancing encouragement among public which has received good cooperation from Thais during the past month, the situation can change at any minute. Mercedes-Benz, therefore, wishes to be a part of providing assistance to medical staff in the four hospitals that are at the front and center in taking care of patients infected with coronavirus and join Thais in battling and winning this COVID-19 outbreak together.

In addition, Mercedes-Benz is aware of customers’ inconvenience to bring your Mercedes-Benz vehicles for service at our service center during the COVID-19 outbreak. Mercedes-Benz, therefore, announces two measures to help our customers during this difficult time.
- Your vehicle warranty or your Mercedes-Benz Service Plus package will automatically be covered by Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) in case it has expired during the outbreak, effective from 26 February to 30 September 2020.
- We also extend overdue period of service interval for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and vans to 150 days or 5,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, effective from 26 February to 30 September 2020.
