Oriental Princess evolves into lifestyle brand, collaborates with Thailand’s top fashion icon VATANIKA to launch collection of signature bags

“Oriental Princess Veda and Vanda Signature Bags Designed by VATANIKA” Chic, nature-inspired items combine fashion and oriental colours in perfect harmony.

In its latest evolution into a lifestyle brand, Oriental Princess recently launched “Oriental Princess Veda and Vanda Signature Bags Designed by VATANIKA”. The collection is a design collaboration between Oriental Princess and designer Vatanika Patamasingh na Ayudhya, the founder of fashion brand VATANIKA and a top fashion icon in Thailand. With a design concept of “Oriental Chic”, it blends fashion and Oriental Princess’ characteristic Asian beauty palettes with the chic, self-assured personality of designer Vatanika. The results are two ranges of chic bags: Veda Satchel Signature Bag is an exclusive bag design for Oriental Princess; and Vanda offers a variety of bags in four styles, namely Clutch, Crossbody Bag, and Medium and Small Cosmetic Bags. Oriental Princess Veda and Vanda Signature Bags Designed by VATANIKA are produced in limited number. The collection is presold exclusively on Oriental Princess shop online starting September 28, 2018 and will become available in all 285 Oriental Princess shops nationwide as of October 5, 2018.

 Designer Vatanika Patamasingh na Ayudhya commented, “I feel honored to work with Oriental Princess and I found this collaboration very challenging because, after obtaining my bachelor’s in women’s wear from London College of Fashion, I’ve chosen to pursue my education in product design and development with a focus on bags. The project involved me in every process of fashion bag design and development, from choices of bag shapes and colours to the design elements in detail. Based on the concept of ‘Oriental Chic’, I picked satchel style for the signature bag I designed exclusively for Oriental Princess. This type of bag is versatile, highly functional and looks simple yet elegant, making it ideal as Oriental Princess’ signature bag. My design has a pink-and-red colour scheme because these are popular colours of most Asian women. Its design details are inspired by natural beauty that is associated with Oriental Princess, combined with gorgeous silhouette of women’s figure that is the signature of VATANIKA. The bag is also gimmicked with my autograph as a design element. I wish the fashion items from this collection will enhance women’s presence and give an added degree of confidence to all the fashionistas.”
