Mr. Robin Spencer (right), Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) and Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong (left), Chief Executive Officer of AIS announced the launch of Prudential Thailand’s special COVID-19 coverage for AIS customers.
Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited (“Prudential Thailand”) is partnering with AIS, a leading telecom operator in Thailand, to offer one million AIS customers free 60-day COVID-19 coverage of up to THB550,000. The programme is in tandem with the recent launch of Prudential Thailand’s latest innovation “Pulse by Prudential” (“Pulse”), an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered mobile app that gives Thai users access to healthcare services and real-time health information to help them manage their health better.
Downloadable for free from Apple and Google Play stores, Pulse offers users 24/7 access to a comprehensive set of mobile tools and real-time health and wellness information. The key features currently available on Pulse include: Healthcheck, which creates a health report and offers insights into potential long-term disease risks represented through the Digital Twin, a graphic representation of the human body broken down by organ, based on the user’s inputs to a digital questionnaire; Symptom Checker, which gives users a better understanding of worrying symptoms and direct them when best to seek further advice from healthcare professionals; Hospital Finder, an interactive map that allows users to easily see which accredited clinics and hospitals are in close proximity to them; and Body Mass Index (BMI) and Wrinkle Index, AI-powered features that help users understand their body fat and ageing speeds respectively, as well as other health and lifestyle metrics by uploading a simple selfie photo.
