DESPITE all the doom and gloom about Thailand’s economy, Bangkok’s entertainment industry seems to faring well, if the number of new establishments about to open here is anything to go by. Apart from Hooters’ expansions plans noted below, the Scandinavian ponytails and friends behind popular local eatery Rocket Coffeebar are apparently planning to open five new outlets to add to those in Sathorn Soi 12, Central Embassy and Sukhumvit Soi 49.
