Relax with green activities at the "101 Sustainable Fest" at 101 True Digital Park, co-hosted by Ginger Farm Kitchen, to discover Thai-style natural living. “101 Sustainable Fest: From Farm to City” is taking a farm from Chiang Mai to the city to offer a host of activities and a chance to meet villagers, farmers and organic business experts. Visitors can learn about sustainable food systems for healthy living and join food and health workshops given by experts and the owners of famous organic brands, who will share knowledge and practical experience of green business.
Demonstrations of how to make organic products will include a session from A. Walailak Inchai on making organic compress and hammer message to relieve office syndrome. Arun Navaraj, the managing director of Sampran Riverside, will present on sustainable food system. Anothai Kuncha will cover healthy eating with local herbs applying local wisdom and Ginger Farm teaching Kaem Ling pots from recycled bottles.
Organic coffee will provide another highlight, with a coffee drip workshop featuring beans from hill tribe plantations. Lee Ayu Chuepa, a young man from Akha tribe who owns 5 rai in Mae Rim and proprietor of Akha Ama Living Factory coffee shop, which has a prominent point is a large rain tree. A workshop for tea lovers and those interested in organic beverages will feature Kenneth Rimdahl of Monsoon Tea.

Another speaker is Thibault Spithakis, a founder of Chalong Bay Rum. Made in Thailand using traditional production methods this rum has combined French craft with Thailand’s rich sugar cane to conquer export market all over the world. There will also be weekend markets with organic products, food, and drinks as well as activities for everyone in the family, with a playground made from straw, toys from natural materials, and cute pets as delightful souvenirs.
101 Sustainable Fest will conclude with a dinner from renowned chef Carsten Kyster on 20 May 2019 at 6pm at Ginger Farm Kitchen.
