The highlight of this year’s SCS Annual Edition 2019 is the exotic and rare Amur Leopard, an endangered subspecies of leopards that are native to the Primorye region of southeastern Russia and northern China. The main inspiration for Heinz Tabertshofer in using the mother Amur Leopards as his motif is their strength, agility, grace and gentle maternal instincts.
The SCS Annual Edition 2019 Amur Leopard is a limited edition one of a kind piece in the ‘Sofia’ Collection. The name ‘Sofia’ has a Greek origin meaning intelligence and is often used to name princesses and queens across many countries in Europe, injecting a touch of regal appeal to the Amur Leopard. The mother leopard is sitting gracefully, gazing adoringly at her baby cubs, symbolizing the love and warmth the customers feel towards their families. Her dazzling body is crafted from the finest crystal with golden shadow effect and the distinct Amur Leopard spots were emulated using satin & bronze shading.
