A collaboration with Wunderman Thompson brings about the chic idea of staying home to earn miles via “THAI Stay Home Miles Exchange” application.
Thai Airways International PCL (THAI), in support of the government’s anti-COVID-19 campaign that asks Thai people to stay home to stop the virus outbreak, has partnered with creative agency Wunderman Thompson to roll out “THAI Stay Home Miles Exchange” campaign, which enables people across Thailand earn miles simply by staying home from today until May 26, 2020*.

First Time in Thailand to Earn Miles Simply by Staying Home
Social distancing and staying home are keys to reducing the risk of contracting COVID-19 and preventing the spread of the virus. THAI is therefore offering 1 million Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) miles to participants of THAI Stay Home Miles Exchange campaign. With every 4-hour stay at home, each participant earns one mile that can be accrued to redeem for air tickets, accommodations, etc. according to the terms and conditions for their post-COVID-19 travels.
Earn Miles Easily by Downloading THAI Stay Home Miles Exchange Mobile App
To join the campaign:
1. Download THAI Stay Home Miles Exchange mobile application.
- Users of Android devices can download the application from https://bit.ly/THAIStayHome to join the campaign from April 24 – May 23, 2020.
-Users of iOS devices can download the application from App Store to join the campaign from April 27 – May 26, 2020.
2. Press “Start” button on the application’s home page.
3. Pinpoint your ‘stay home’ location, which cannot be changed afterwards.
4.Press confirm to start earning your miles.
-You will be notified whenever you move outside 100-meter radius of this location.
-Your mileage earning will be suspended outside 100-meter radius of this location.
5.At the end of the campaign (May 23, 2020 for Android users or May 26, 2020 for iOS users) or when 500,000 miles being offered by THAI on each platform are finished*:
-ROP Members: Identify your membership by filling in your first-last names (as appear on ROP database), ROP membership number, and mobile phone number and/or email address.
-Non ROP Members: Sign up for ROP membership by filling in your personal information (as in 5a) at thaiairways.com/rop. The miles earned will be added to your ROP membership account by July 10, 2020**
