TPN 2018 Co. Ltd., the official organizers of the 2018 MISS UNIVERSE® competition, will today announce additional details of the upcoming pageant that will take place in Bangkok, Thailand locally on Monday, December 17.
The press conference will include remarks from Paula M. Shugart, president of The Miss Universe Organization, reigning Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa, Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova, and Miss Universe Thailand 2018, 2017 and 2016 Sophida Kanchanarin, Maria Poonlertlarp and Chalita Suansane at Napalai Ballroom of Dusit Thani Bangkok.
Hosting the 2018 MISS UNIVERSE® competition in Thailand is an opportunity for the country to continue adding value to its economy by highlighting all that Thailand has to offer as an international travel destination through its beautiful culture which is largely part of the country’s identity. Hosting the global event in Bangkok, Thailand is a collaboration between the private and public sectors to generate revenue for the economy by promoting all that Thailand has to offer to the world.

Ltd., said there are many things to look forward to in the lead up to the final event. “We are honored to be a part of organizing the production and live broadcast of this year’s MISS UNIVERSE® which has a record number of participants registered with several countries joining the pageant for the first time in 2018. Contestants will participate in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown, and interview. This year, the Miss Universe swimsuits will be designed by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana under the brand Sirivannavari for the contestants. Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the special programming event.
