A growing global-awakening sisterhood festival
Swissotel Bangkok Rachada, led by Bruno Rotschaedl, General Manager, together with Festival Du Feminin, led by Sylvie Baradel, held a press conference on 14th February 2019 at Le Lotus II, Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada, to welcome and talk about the 4th edition of “Festival du Féminin®” to be held in Bangkok on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March 2019.

As held in other locations around the world, Festival du Feminin® Bangkok is an internationally registered event for women of every culture where they can experience awakening and empowerment in a safe and intimate environment.

In essence, it is a journey of self-discovery that facilitates women to feel, access and reconnect with the multiple facets of their selves, breaking away from the rigid expectations of peers, parents, colleagues, partners, and society at large. Because women empower one another when they connect with their inner selves, with one another, and with the world.

Founded in Paris, this sisterhood movement has since developed in Canada, USA, Mexico, Columbia, India, Morocco, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Thailand, while new projects are initiated in Indonesia, Japan, and the Middle East.
REGISTER NOW for Bangkok FOURTH edition
Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March 2019.

The vision of Festival du Feminin® is to bring together a large tribe of women, giving them opportunities to meet, share, transmit, honour and celebrate precious moments of their lives and inner paths. It invites women to discover, or rediscover, the power, the sweetness, the safety of bonds and friendships connecting and feeling what they have in common, to explore the lights and shadows inside them, and to heal their lineage wounds.

An intimate exploration of the multi-facets of the feminine
Through interactive workshops, get ready to join a two-day event devoted to body-mind experiences, women’s personal growth, the healing arts and spirituality, hosted by an array of local and international facilitators who are midwives, energetic healers, artists, psychologists, scientists, coaches, therapists, business executives, writers, and more.

A range of inspirational experiences await participants to nurture every aspect of their being, including 20 workshops. Some are more dynamic in nature, brought to life with chants, raising women up through movement, a chance to release and let go. Others offer a softer and more subtle femininity in motion. Still other workshops are more reflective, where women delve into exploring their psyche, emotions, weak points, discomforts, and what they sometimes have trouble expressing. Healing will be sought through rituals and forgiveness circles, family constellations, gong & Tibetan singing bowls, Primitive Expression, and more.

This year, there will be six Thai facilitators joining. Here are three of them:
Angeli Jagota, a yoga professional and author of the bestselling book on spiritual sexuality, “The Intimacy Protocol”, who will lead the Celebrate Womandhood Workshop. This workshop will bring women together to share their experiences, vibes and create good memories. Because as Angeli believes, “The more memories you create, the more you want to live.”

Rasee Govindani, a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator and cancer survivor, will facilitate the Survivor Circle. This is described as a space for women healing from trauma to join together to share their stories, listen, or sit in silence. She believes that when women support women magic happens.

Sophirat Muangkum, a photographer of nudes will facilitate the “If clothes wrap the body, the skin wraps the soul” workshop. Her session will change the way people look at each other. It will teach women not to judge people and to find the good things in others first. It will inspire women to be confident and have self-esteem.

Panel discussions
Another highlight of the festival is panel discussions where inspirational Thai women share their thoughts, hopes, and challenging experiences in relation to women’s relationships with their bodies, aiming to empower today’s women to reach their fullest potential. The panel will be joined by Cindy Sirinya Bishop, actress, supermodel, television compere and initiator of the viral ‘Don't tell me how to dress’ campaign and hashtag #donttellmehowtodress. But she is just one of the headline personalities who will present their very personal profiles of girl power.
A light, relaxing, FUN and entertaining evening on Friday 15th
The “Adventure of the Festival” shares the story of the traveling necklace followed by improvisation playtime, bringing laughter, creativity, and joyous celebrations, followed by listening to Tibetan singing bowls.

“As a Swissôtel, we are honoured and delighted to host Festival du Feminin®,” commented Brumo, Roschaedl, General Manager, Swissôtel Bangkok Ratchada.

“Swissôtel’s brand promise of ‘Quality in Life’ dovetails with the concept of the event perfectly,” he added.

The hotel’s support for the event includes providing all venues and nutritious food and beverage for the participants, facilitators and panellists.
