It was the earnest intention of Boonkiet Chokwatana, Executive Chairman of I.C.C. International PLC and Somphol Chaisiriroj, Manager of The Forgotten Show Project in wanting to promote and develop apparel design under ICC’s various brands to achieve higher potential, quality, distinction and innovation, as well as wishing to emphasize the Company’s longstanding leadership in the local fashion industry, that led to the advent of “The Forgotten Show 2019” at the 23rd Saha Group Fair for the 7th consecutive year by selecting a total of 15 of the Company’s leading brands, namely ELLE Boutique / ELLE Homme / ELLE Kids / Excellency / Enfant / Guy Laroche / Guy de Guy Laroche / Guy Laroche Bag / Guy Laroche Inner /How / iiMK / Maximus / Mix Self / Naturalizer and Wacoal to compete for the Forgotten Show Award 2019.
In doing so, a fashion show was staged under the concept, Millennials, with emphasis on modernity, sleek and chic, while also maintaining the signature and identity of the brand, in order to showcase the potential of the true fashion leader, on Thursday 27 June 2019 between 1.00-2.30 pm at Hall 100 of the BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangna.
The Judges Panel for The Forgotten Show Award 2019 comprised Somphol Chaisiriroj, Director of I.C.C. International PLC, as Chair, and 4 other honorary judges namely Thiplada Chaovanapreecha, businesswomen, Phansiri Sirivejabhand, fashion photographer, Linda Charoenlab, owner of Lalalove and Lalalove London, and Ajirabha Misinger, the first winner of the title THE FACE THAILAND.

“The Forgotten Show 2019” program started with the special collection fashion show “White Black & Gold” featuring 8 famous brands: ARROW, BSC Cool Metropolis, Excellency, Enfant, Daks, Naturalizer, Louis Fontaine and Streamline. The collection was first created in late May of 2017 when I.C.C. International PLC organized the “White Black & Gold Charity Gala Dinner” fashion show to raise funds for the Utokapat Foundation under His Majesty’s Royal Patronage, with all proceeds being donated to support assistance to drought-stricken areas. The event raised almost 4 million Baht.
In addition, in 2018 the “White Black & Gold” fashion show of I.C.C. International PLC collaborated with the Dr. Thiam Chokwatana Foundation and companies in the Saha Group to support the Utokapat Foundation to the tune of 3 million Baht in order to improve the structure of the water system in the designated area with water distribution systems in integrated agricultural plots in accordance with the geographical terrain and water usage patterns, increase preparedness of basic production fundamentals, enhance water management for agricultural purposes for 238 families in the Petch Nam Nueng community of Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province.
The Utokapat Foundation’s water management operation comprises 2 main components: first the development of water system structures namely excavation of a trial water passage canal of a total distance of 1,720 kilometers complete with sewer pipes, water control buildings, water rails and water level walls; second is the development of integrated agricultural plots according to the New Theory of Agriculture, namely establishing demonstration integrated agricultural plots in an area of 34 rais.
Petch Nam Nueng community currently produces 19 crops: coriander, Hong Kong kale, sweet cherry tomatoes, Sida tomatoes, lemongrass, kafir lime, ginger, chilli, eggplant, cucumber, Chinese morning glory, acacia, vegetable fern, crispy eggplant, Damnoen green papaya, Holland papaya, sunflower sprout, morning glory sprout—all of which are available in Golden Place stores.
This year, in addition to the fashion show, Boonkiet Chokwatana also presented an exhibition of the “White Black & Gold” Collection which was especially created by I.C.C. International PLC for sale to raise funds for the water management projects of the Utokapat Foundation under the chairmanship of Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul.

The winner of the Best Forgotten Show Award 2019 was Wacoal, receiving the top prize of THB 30,000. The first runner-up was ELLE Kids winning THB 20,000, second runner-up was Excellency winning THB 10,000, and 3 honorable mentions of THB 5,000 each went to ELLE Boutique, Enfant and ELLE Homme.
