The 7 members of the "4EVE" girl group - Mind, Jorin, Taaom, Hannah, Fai, Punch, and Aheye – extend an invitation to music lovers to have time at Thailand's biggest music festival, the 13th Pepsi Presents Big Mountain Music Festival. It will take place between 9th-10th December 2023 at The Ocean Khao Yai in Nakhon Ratchasima province. You can unlock your “environmentally conscious” mode with the “Munz Mai Ting” (Enjoy and Reduce Waste) campaign which will encourage people to have fun while being responsible, by throwing at the right place and segregating in the right bin. This help enhancing the collection for recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
Under the "Munz Mai Ting" campaign during the Big Mountain event, there will be 50 waste segregation and disposal stations set up throughout the venue for 4 waste categories including PET plastic bottles, aluminium cans, food waste, and general waste. After the event, all 4 categories of waste will go to a proper recycling process or utilization. Moreover, dedicated staff and volunteers at each station will be there to help and guide people to segregate waste properly and throw away in the right bin.
The 7 members of “4EVE” have some tips for concert goers on proper waste disposal. People can give their waste to the “Munz Mai Ting” crew - identified by their bright blue backpacks with the “Munz Mai Ting” logo. The crew then will take care of waste, allowing everyone to enjoy the music without interruption. For dropping into such “Munz Mai Ting” backpacks, only PET bottles and cans will be accepted. They will be recycled and circulated back for use countless time. This way, music fans can make a triple impact by minimizing the amount of waste that could leak into the environment; recycling to promote renewable resources; and importantly, reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The waste segregation and management at Pepsi Presents Big Mountain Music Festival this year is a collaborative effort of PepsiCo Services Asia Co., Ltd. (PepsiCo Thailand), Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and GMM Show under GMM Music Co. Ltd. This partnership is geared towards enhancing the music festival experience while protecting the environment – to create an "Eco-Friendly Music Festival," setting a new trend that raises the bar towards a more environmentally responsible standard.
