“Holistic Heritage SIRIVANNAVARI x Whoo 2019”, the art piece was graciously designed by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. As is The history of Whoo’s core philosophy that inherits the true beauty of the Empress into the modern world. The piece is considered to be a tangible beauty represented and created through the work of skilled craftsmanship and a long cultural heritage, which transmits love, time, spirit and beauty to the new generation. The creativity of a metallic thread embroiderer or in this case “gold-work embroidery” is inspired by an old technique used in by Thai embroiders in the past.
This masterpiece presents the combination between the modern technique and the heritage embroidery technique, which consisted of silk embroidered on to the heritage Thai Silk with a classic sewing machine, and assembled all by hand in order to create 3Deffects such as Peacocks and Flowers. The “luneville”, a French embroidery technique used in this masterpiece, which can also be seen through the peacock’s tail. The details are embroidered in lustrous chain pattern include with an embroidery of beads in many configurations, which are mostly seen only in Haute Couture pieces. The masterpiece took over 728 hours to complete in order to create the most precious hand masterpiece which we can now appreciate visibly through the combination of embroidery stories and through the spiritual work of skilled craftsmanship.

Sririta Jensen said, “I’ve always been a fan of this brand because the products are designed just for Asian skin, and the history of the brand gives me confidence in this brand. At this event, you can see that the items on display are very rare, and they are national treasure of Korea. Personally, I love the essence because of the soft texture which doesn’t feel greasy or sticky on the skin. It absorbs very quickly and helps restore the skin’s balance, while also clarifying the skin and improving blood circulation. The skin feels instantly softer and firmer, while the pores are smaller. I think it’s a must-have product for everyone.”
