Mr. Fred Mouawad, the fourth-generation Co-Guardian of Mouawad, along with Mr. Jimmy Mouawad, fifth-generation Co-Guardian of Mouawad, made an appearance at a Miss Universe Thailand 2020 retreat from September 22-24, 2020. As the official sponsor of the crown making for Miss Universe Thailand 2020, they participated in activities with the Miss Universe Thailand 2020 contestants, at the InterContinental Resort Hua Hin.
The father and son duo generated a lot of attention from both the guests and participants as this is the first year that Mouawad is partnering with the Miss Thailand Universe 2020 pageant.
In 2019, Mouawad entered into a partnership with The Miss Universe Organization, which saw the winner of MISS UNIVERSE® honored with the crown crafted by Mouawad. This year Miss Thailand Universe 2020 will also have the honor of adorning the winner with a one-of-a-kind specially crafted Mouawad crown.
The precious gem-set crown, worth over 3.5 million baht, will be unveiled on October 7, 2020 at ICONSIAM, Bangkok. Amid great anticipation over the crown’s unveiling, the Mouawad family revealed that this unique, bespoke work of extraordinary craftsmanship boldly reflects the key theme of the Miss Universe Thailand 2020 pageant - “Real U, Real Miss Universe”.
