Along with our sponsoring partners, we will continue to maintain the prestige of Miss Thailand pageant while redesign the format of the contest to be more universal with focus on the enhancement of the contestant’s ability by promoting learning skill, personality improvement and global attitude development. We will also create a new kind of beauty pageant entertainment to be enjoyed by Thai people nationwide with more diversified broadcasting channels to reach wider group of audience.”
Pol Maj-Gen Atthakrit Thareechat, President, the Vajiravudh College Alumni Association under the Royal Patronage, revealed that “We are committed to nurturing Miss Thailand, the first and original national beauty pageant of Thailand, as a platform to celebrate the value of Thai lady, promote the respect to women’s right in Thai modern society as well as maintain the beauty of Thai cultural heritage. This is the first time we grant 5-year proprietorship to host the pageant to open up an opportunity for a long-term collaboration. We decided to choose TW Pageants as our partner because the company’s proposed concept aligns with our ambition. In addition, with the extensive experience of their management team in creating value for entertainment industry, we foresee a whole new dimension of Miss Thailand pageant, which will become the official national beauty pageant widely recognized internationally.”
According to Chalida Tantipipop, Miss Thailand 1998, “The role of Miss Thailand is beyond beautiful appearance, but an inspiration for self development among Thai women. I am greatly delighted to see a long-term collaboration between the Vajiravudh College Alumni Association and TW Pageants in strengthening the Miss Thailand brand to grow side by side with Thai society.”
