And Ms. Lucksupha Prabhawat, President of the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Group and Mr. Supat Laowawat, Managing Director of Skintech Inter Products Co., Ltd., at the Putahracsa Room, 6th Floor, ICC International Public Company Limited, Bangkok Head Office.
 
Mr. Naohisa Yagi Chief Executive Officer and President, SHOP Global (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said that SHOP Global (Thailand) was established in 2013. The company has opened a market in Thailand around 5 years ago which is a collaboration between Sumitomo Corporation of Japan and SAHA Group.
 
SHOP Channel in Japan is considered the number one TV shopping channel in Japan that is broadcasting nationwide. Moreover, "SHOP Channel" is also committed to the Thai market with marketing assistance from "SHOP Channel Japan" and cooperation from the SAHA Group of Thailand.
 
Mr. Naohisa Yagi said, nowadays, the situation of market and customer’s behavior already changed. Everything is more open, customers can buy products or search for product information from multiple channels including small entrepreneurs having to face competitors or competition among other operators under the change of consumption. And what is the most important thing for customers "price" or "free gifts" both are not the main thing.  We did not consider only the “free gift or price” but the main key of our business at this time is "product"

Mr. Sorachot Amanwong, Chief Operation Officer, SHOP Global (Thailand) Company Limited, said that now the Thai cosmetics market is worth more than 200 billion baht or nearly 3 hundred thousand baht, more than 10,000 cosmetic businesses in Thailand. One of the many industries that Thai government give a strong support by setting up Thai Cosmetics Cluster by Ministry of Industry. In the past, the Ministry of Industry of Thailand has supported the gathering of entrepreneurs in various categories from TON -NAAM, KANG- NAAM and PAI-NAAM together. It’s included raw materials, factories, brand products and distributors to establish the “Thai Cosmetics Cluster”.

Nowadays, cosmetics have become more important in the daily lives of consumers. Because of most of the world population is focused on health and beauty care. Resulting in a continuous growth of the cosmetics industry by the cosmetics business and health products. For example, hair products, face products, body products, fragrances and food supplement with a total economic value of nearly 300 billion baht, which is divided into approximately domestic markets. It is divided 60 percent by export market and domestic market is 40 percent of the total economic value of the business and Thailand is the 3rd cosmetic center in Asia.
 
At present, Thai cosmetic industry has a continuous expansion in exports, especially the important export markets. For example, neighboring countries with higher investment value every year. And Thailand still has the value of cosmetic exports as the number 1 in ASEAN by occupying market share. Which is divided into 68 percent small cosmetics manufacturers, 29 percent medium-sized cosmetics manufacturers and 3 percent large cosmetic manufacturers. There is also a supply chain which related to many industries such as herbs, chemicals, food, publications, packaging made of glass and plastic etc.
 
Chairman of the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Group Also said Thai cosmetic industry cluster, it is one of the examples of industrial integration of SME that includes TON -NAAM, KANG- NAAM and PAI-NAAM operators which will be focusing on the continuous growth direction. It is also an industry that is will be affected by the economic situation and purchasing power. From the industrial confidence index, the cosmetics industry is still be considered as one of the 4 industries with high confidence from domestic and international market.
During the past 3-4 years, Thai cosmetic cluster has created a network of cooperation between public and private sectors. As well as supporting the development of knowledge and research which including organizing various activities for entrepreneurs.  Those who interested in cosmetics business in order to create further development of innovation and value creation for products, they can promote cooperation of the supply chain that can integrate industrial in order to deliver business efficiency and get the response or feedback of customer’s need. These developments are in line with Thailand 4.0 policy, in order to be able to create competition with the leading countries in the world of cosmetic industry.
 
In addition, Thai Cosmetic Cluster, there is still development and integration with various countries to become one of the Cosmetic Valley members which is considered the first industrial cluster in Thailand that has entered the international level. It is a good signal to help the Thai cosmetic industry to connect and develop in the same direction as the leading industrial countries.
