The workshop was attended by celebrities, Haruethai Jayant Na Ayudhaya, Natchaya Krairiksh, Ascha Charoenrasameekiat and Chompunood Rojsiriruch to reveal their makeup and hair styles including personal tips to choose outfit at Bchu Runway Showroom, Siam Square Soi 3 yesterday afternoon.

The fun workshop presented 4 looks created by makeup artist and hairstylist to welcome the new decade. The first look is for daytime event in sweet girl style with pink halter dress from Three Floor brand and peach orange tone makeup and loose hair updo in natural look. The next look is for day event for girls with playful and lively character in mint halter top with floral print from Allen Schwartz and vibrant makeup in pink orange tone with light curled hair outward. The third look is for night party of classy and sexy girls in black strapless dress with detail of pleated fabric on the waist line and flare downward from Prem By Premonition and nude brown makeup tone with bold eyeliner to create fierce look and lightly curled hair let to the side to complete the seductive look. Lastly, the party look for international girls features floral print cocktail dress added more fun look with the layers on shoulders from We are kindred and makeup look in dark brown tone and wavy curled hair on the side for edgy girls who want to look great in comfort.
Talented makeup artist, Chart-Noppakorn Petlump, or Chart Makeup suggested the makeup technique to match the four outfits, skin preparation tips to create self-makeup look, and 2020 hot makeup trends that, “To create perfect makeup look, we need to consider from various elements from costume, personality, and the event. Basically for day makeup look, it’s more polite to apply light makeup and reveal your skin in which we need to take care of our skin health regularly on basis. Do facial mask for 15 minutes before makeup to get moisturized skin which can make the foundation last longer. For those who have acne scar and large pore problem, apply primer before foundation to minimize pore. If you still have acne, try to squeeze or make it smaller and dry so it can be covered with concealer. For those in lack of sleep and face problem when foundation can’t stick onto the skin, apply face mask before makeup and choose matt foundation and avoid glowing texture. For makeup tones, choose earth tone for day look and a bit darker tone for night event and add false lashes, glitter on the eyelid, highlight and shading to accentuate face shape as we won’t stand out in the night event if we apply too light makeup.
“For the four looks that we created, the first one in pink dress I chose peach orange tone for lips and cheeks and make it more outstanding with brown eyeshadow and apply mascara to create nice eyelashes layer so we don’t need eyeliner to get the soft look that goes with hairstyle. The second look in green dress, we apply more makeup by blending pink color to go with more outstanding dress color and get the pink orange tone in total look and choose earth tone lipstick. For the night look we make it more intense and fierce from the black strapless dress. I change to orange brown eyeshadow on the lid and apply winged-eyeliner to get the edgy look and apply orange nude lipstick, and for the last look I make it more international by removing eyeliner and apply darker smoky eye effect, add golden glitter on the lid and finish with dark brown lipstick. The makeup trend next year still continues with bold eyebrows and add glitter to make it more fun. The cheeks in natural orange tone is still the hot trend and lipstick is blurry on the edge and blended over to create more luscious lips naturally.

Those who want to create their own hairstyle can start with straight hair dryer or curl the end of hair to create volume by curling toward the face and follow with a bit of hairdryer to get natural volume. One of the popular styles is Wet Look, just dry the hair straight and swipe up immediately. For day event, use the hair wax for natural wet look and use the hair gel for night event to make it last longer. Another easy hairstyle for long hair is to make tight ponytail. The four looks to match the dresses include the first look in halter dress that we suggest to do the hair up to elongate the neckline but make it natural for daytime event. The next dress in green with one shoulder opened, we let the hair down and create the outward curl a bit to get the lively look. For both night looks we make curled hair on the side tugged behind one ear to reveal more mystic look by revealing the shoulder. The next year hair trend focuses on natural and healthy hair look with soft curl or volume curl in the end. The bang will be on the list for next year including partial highlight.”
The celebrities attending the workshop also shared their makeup and hair styles and tips on choosing outfit, starting with girl with a lovely smile, Haruethai Jayant Na Ayudhaya, said “I normally dress in casual style for daytime like flaring dress and outfit that fits well to the top as I am small on top of body. For the makeup, I will apply light makeup in peach pink tone and eyeliner is a must every time I attend events to feel more confident. I will do light curl to look natural or straight hair. For more formal night events I will wear long gown or mermaid dress with more makeup in golden brown tone and I prefer earth tone lipstick. I will do my hair up to make my dress stand out.”
Next, a young-looking celebrity, Natchaya Krairiksh, said “I personally apply light makeup as I have sensitive skin so I do makeup in natural pink tone with glossy lipstick to make my lips look healthy. I always curl my lashes every time to brighten my face. For the night look I will do more makeup in the same tone and add more highlight for glowing effect. I curl my hair a bit for daytime event and do straight hair at night to create more elegant look. I generally choose front or side split dress to look slim. I will choose more colorful dress for daytime event or in lovely print pattern then go for simply elegant style at night.”
Next, a smart woman, Ascha Charoenrasameekiat, said “I choose more casual style for daytime event when it isn’t that formal while choosing formal long gown with sequin or crystal embroidery detail for night event. The color of outfit is considered by the event concept. My makeup and hairstyle are not so different as I wear makeup in orange based tone and change lipstick color instead, mostly in orange, brick orange, or nude brown but for night look I will add glitter on the eyelid and apply mascara to enhance the eyes. My hair is not so long so I like to do the wet look.”
Lastly, a lady with gorgeous skin, Chompunood Rojsiriruch, said “I like to wear earth tone makeup for day event in brown, pink, or nude tone by wearing less eye makeup and without false lashes to get natural look. For the night look I will add more eye makeup and do the shading around my face to stand out more. I choose lipstick in orange brown tone when the eyes look prominent. I normally do straight hair or ponytail as they can go with every outfit. I will choose a dress that fits well to my body because I’m small. I wear white cocktail dress or in other basic colors for day event and for night event I will choose more metallic tone like gold to stand out even more.”
