Because childhood is the age of creativity, and need to experiment new things, especially girls from 3 years old when they like to notice and memorize their mother’s behavior.

It is normal for them when they want to look pretty like their mothers and tend to copy the style and makeup.  Thus recently, Pornthip Tansiritanes Managing Director of Good For kids Limited, has launched kids cosmetics brand, ‘Puttisu’ to treat modern parents who want to fulfill their kids’ creativity with safety awareness as first priority, at Lady Nara Central Embassy Restaurant.
Mother and daughter celebrities attended the launch event; Jannis Yangpichit, and daughter, Janine Sophonpanich Yangpichit, Palawi Bunnag with Torsang Issara, Tawanna Thara with Milranee Kroekritvanit, including Nathanaporn Euawanthanakhun, and Sireepan Mathuraporn
‘Puttisu’ is number one kid cosmetics brand from Korea, suitable for children from 3 years old and pregnant mothers, or ladies with sensitive skin based on 100% natural ingredients, providing gentle and harmless effect to the skin, produced by standard technology to fulfill infinite imagination to children.
Pornthip Tansiritanes talked about the business background and signature of ‘Puttisu’ brand that, ‘We have been looking for cosmetics for children when we see that most girls love nail polish, and want to wear makeup like their moms. Their age is the time when they love to experiment and try new things. Adult cosmetics contain chemical substance that may cause irritation to children’s skin. Thus we conducted actual research, until we found Puttisu which is very popular in Korea where they place priority to brands for children exclusively.  Apart from pure natural ingredients, there are new product inventions to add more variety for children in vibrant colors, proper for children’s age to enjoy applying those colors, including prominent and catchy packaging design. So we decided to import this brand to Thailand as we see it will address the needs of kids and parents who want to support their imagination.’

While Dr.  Wanwipa thongborisute,  medical expert in cosmeceutical added about children development, and the selection of products for children that,  ‘Children at 3-4 years old are developed to start imitating in styling and makeup. Parents should support them in this part as they can freely express their creativity, and become fostered at the same time. We can chose products that are safe and free from chemical substance that may cause skin irritation. For cosmetics, we should select products from natural ingredients. However, apart from providing proper child development skill based on their ages. Parents should be aware of using skin care products for them.  We should start to apply sunscreen for kids when they have to go outdoor from the age of six months, but it must be specially made for children only. The sunscreen should be the light reflecting one for real effective protection and safe for their skin.’

The guest mother and daughter celebrities enjoyed painting colors with cosmetics, shared their child development tips, and their daughters’ lovely habit on beauty care.  First, a smart mom, Palawi Bunnag said ‘Wela has rapid development. She is always curious and talkative, probably from being well-raised by me. When she was 3-4 years old and get started to become interested in beauty. She wanted to join me when I wore makeup, but I warned her not to follow me as cosmetics are chemicals. So she kept that information but tried to act like she could wear makeup. When she found out about makeup items she can use, she was very happy (laugh). For development in other skills. I let her tried many activities when she grew up to find what she likes most. Now she loves to play piano, sing, and draw pictures.’
Next, a gorgeous mom, Jannis Yangpichit said ‘Janine started to get interested in beauty habit since she was little. When she was two, she played and ruined many of my lipsticks (laugh). And when she grew bigger she realized that she can’t use them. So, she asked to be my assistant when I do makeup for myself, she would stay with me and hand powder, mascara, blush to me. Now she’s turning 5 years old, I let her have her own cosmetics that are suitable for kids with non-chemical substance with proper colors for her age. She loves nail polish and lip balm a lot. It’s one activity that she can learn at her age to experiment new things, and I always support her in whatever she wants to learn.’
Next, a young mother, Tawanna Thara said, ‘When kids are in the age they start to imitate, we have to be cautious and let them know what they can do and what they can’t. Milly, my biggest daughter is in this age when she wants to dress like me.  And she loves to paint her nails so much, like all the girls. I don’t know why (laugh). Previously, I allowed her to have pedicure only as I was afraid if she did manicure and accidentally put her hand in her mouth. Now she has her own nail polish that I find they are safe for her. When she paint her nails by herself, it’s a way for her muscle to get exercise. My parenting key concept is to spend time together with children, to play and cook with them. I believe if we give enough love to them, they will have beautiful mind.’
Lastly, a mom with pretty smile, Nathanaporn Euawanthanakhun said, ‘Every kid are curious by nature. Now Tonlew likes observing things around her. She always watches me when I get dressed and makeup. She appreciates beautiful colors of makeup and want to use it too. Now when there are products she can use on herself, it’s another way she can develop her skills. She might draw animals using sunscreen stick. Children’s imagination is unpredictable, so we have to stay open to let them express their ideas freely.’
