Piaget Métiers d’Art Watches

This year, Piaget brings “Altiplano” to life, as part of its high jewellery collection “Sunlight Escape”, created in 8 different styles and expressed in a variety of unique Métiers d’Art craftsmanship, from marquetry to bulino engraving and enamelling techniques.
​All creations draw inspiration from the beautiful scenic where summer sun never sets, nights have the brightness of day, as well as the characteristic of wildlife. At the heart of these 8 watches beat Manufacture Piaget 430P, ultra-thin hand-wound mechanical movement, a worthy heir to the hand-wound Piaget 9P movement.

​Polar Emotion Watch (G0A43199) presented in 36mm white gold case with 48 baguette-cut diamonds and 303 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, inspired by the true emotions, sharing precious and intense moments, unconditional love from a mother to her baby.

In this spectacular vision of contrasts, Piaget decided to catch a tenderness time between a bear and its baby. Bodies are as one and stand out on the immaculate snow backdrop. This motif entirely made with wood pieces by using the ancient technique of wood marquetry, incrusted in a mother-of-pearl dial which is a strong symbol of the unconditional maternal love, and comes with blue satin bracelet. Limited edition of 8 pieces.

Piaget brings the other bear to life with Bulino Engraving on Wild Splendor Watch (G0A43194), inspired by its behaviors; strong and impressive, coming in a 40mm white gold case with a dial featuring a bear. Like a picture, the bulino art transposes each detail giving almost life to the motif. Each shadow and light brings relief and matter to the animal which really seems watching us. Limited edition of 8 pieces. 

​Limited to just 3 pieces, Night Illusion Watch (G0A43188) comes in a 36mm white gold case with 48 baguette-cut diamonds and 303 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and mint alligator strap, featuring a dial made of chrysoprase, inspired by the most luminous color of the Aurora Borealis, “Aqua” which dazzles everyone with its freshness, shaded by subtle white waves reminding the dancing light in the sky. 

Infinite Blue Watch (G0A43189), this 41mm watch is inspired by the Nordic lands - a land of extreme geological contrasts, also known as "The lands of fire and Ice", adorning its dial with lapis lazuli, an extremely pure stone representing a blue sky at the zenith. No cloud, just a deep and harmonious color which calls for calm and serenity, set with 48 baguette-cut diamonds and 102 brilliant-cut diamonds which underline the dial in a circle of light.

​The last two 38mm-diameter watches in pink gold case with 78 brilliant-cut diamonds-set bezel; Golden Dunes Watch (G0A43196) presents on white and golden feather marquetry dial which invites us in a 3D dreaming space with a magnificent dune horizon where everything is soft and cozy, covered with different gold colors - lemon, champagne and green - to remind the gold reflections of the sun on the snow. Limited edition of 8 pieces.

Solar Energy Watch (G0A43197) presents on a stunning white silk dial embroidered with a radiant motif in thin pink gold threads to remind the sun shining on the vast White Plains, fitted with white alligator strap. Like a talisman, it brings a positive influence and an immediate well-being. The purity of its abstract design, underlined by a diamond-set bezel, makes this watch timeless. Followed by these two 38mm-diameter watches in white gold case; with 78 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel; Ice Crack Watch (G0A43198) comes with a blue enamelled engraving dial and white alligator strap. The engraved motif reminds the soft cracks that reveal the bright blue sea beneath the ice, while white and blue colours remind the intense colours of this amazing landscape. Green Borealis Watch (G0A43200), inspired by the Northern lights, one of the seven natural wonders appear only at high latitudes on dark nights, and lucky star-gazers can witness this captivating green glow across the sky, hosts fireworks of colors on its dial by using feather marquetry, together with small polished white gold parts recalling the brilliance of the light of stars on a mix of blue and deep purple background.
