LAUNCHED in Thailand in 2008 by two Australian entrepreneurs, Robert Brodie and Mark Abell, Engage Eco produces and sells valueadded products derived from the rapidly renewable fibrous plant, Kenaf, and combines modern logistics and processing technologies with sustainable agricultural practices, ensuring the utilization of the entire kenaf plant with zero waste. “The range of products that are produced from Engage fiber production, and the applications of them, are immense,” says Mark. “Agribusiness is a hugely important industry sector and a substantial income earner for the Kingdom, and we forecast a strong growth strategy that will continue to provide more jobs for Thai people.”
