The Winning Edge’s founder, Bert “Bow-Thai” van Walbeek, arrived in Thailand in 1985 and, upon insistent requests by hospitality and tourism organizations to tap into his vast experience, started The Winning Edge in 1993 as a boutique consulting company, offering primarily services to the tourism industries, but also to automobile, pharmaceutical and optical industrial sectors. Today, the company operates in any destination between Beijing and Bali as well as Mauritius and Macau.
