Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok presents its first-ever vegan and gluten-free afternoon tea set
It is said that you are what you eat—and that health is wealth. With this in mind, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok’s newly appointed Executive Pastry Chef Pablo Gicquel has introduced a special new vegan and gluten-free afternoon tea set, priced at THB 1,500++ (THB 1,767 net) per person, available daily at The Authors’ Lounge from 12.00 pm to 6.00 pm, from 28 September 2019.
Highlights include Vegan protein and vegan cheddar cheese puff, Vegan Bratwurst sausage with Dijon mustard double decker, Charcoal tart with pumpkin and black truffle, “Calisson” almond cake with mandarin marmalade, a not-to-be-missed scone with golden sultana and a Granny Smith apple with homemade jam and tofu spread. All are served with a choice of freshly brewed coffee or fine teas.
