For the new autumn menu, our epicurean chefs are inspired from the nature’s changing palette where leaves dreamily transform colors from green to red, orange, yellow and brown; and the forests and farms become abundant with various autumn ingredients, from pear, peach, fig to apple, chestnut and pumpkin. Discover what DEAN & DELUCA’s culinary team has creatively crafted to satiate your autumn craving at DEAN & DELUCA Central Embassy, Emquartier and The Crystal, from 16 September to 17 November 2019. Begin with Autumn Benedict (395 THB), a vegetarian and wholesome breakfast that will easily fuel one through the morning with star ingredients such as avocado, spinach, fresh mozzarella, pear, tomato, walnut pesto, dried apricot and microgreens. Spinach & Mushroom Sandwich (245 THB), terrific as a quick bite, be it for brunch or lunch, is a simple yet tasty choice that boasts spinach and champignon mushroom cream sauce, and 3 cheeses: emmental, gouda, and cheddar. Next up, Poached Pear & Kale Salad (355 THB), is a refreshing yet satisfying dish with perfectly balanced flavors and textures. Main ingredients include poached pear which has been slowly soaked in a medium-to-full DEAN & DELUCA Cabernet Sauvignon with fragrances of blackberry and plum, crispy and smoky Italian pancetta, Australian kale mixed with baby spinach and wild rocket, intense Danish blue cheese, pomegranate, red wine vinaigrette, and balsamic reduction. |
Moving on to main courses, Cod Fish with Romesco Sauce (565 THB) is a Spanish-influenced dish featuring succulent black cod from Norway, sautéed Australian kale, mushroom, and chestnut, and a peppery Spanish Romesco sauce made of bell peppers and paprika. Next, Seared Duck Breast with Roasted Apple & Fig (545 THB), a quintessential autumn menu that magnificently combines gamey duck breast with sweet and tangy apple gastrique, sweet fresh fig from Chiang Mai and pumpkin mashed potato. Pork Tenderloin with Kale & Chestnut Sauce (395 THB), is a crispy and juicy heart-warming dish. The pork tenderloin is wrapped with crackling bacon and caramelized onion, weds with smoky kale and mushroom stir fry, and teams up with gelatinous turnip pancake, relishing chestnut gravy, and fresh fig. For an ultimate nourishing autumn meal to really cozy up to, try Braised Lamb Shank with Saffron Rice & Ouzi Sauce (425 THB). This hearty traditional Middle Eastern delicacy boasts slow-braising lamb shank with that incredible fall-of-the-bone tenderness, and subtle hints of aromatic spices to really bring out the bold flavors of the succulent meat. It is paired superbly with saffron rice and exotic ouzi sauce.
To sweeten things up, two autumn desserts are on offer. Dean Pear Danish (125 THB), is a housemade buttery pastry consisting of light and flaky croissant dough, rich pastry cream, poached pear immersed in DEAN & DELUCA Cabernet Sauvignon, and drizzled with crunchy pistachios. For a cake option, opt for Dean Peach Cheesecake (165 THB), a silky smooth cheesecake with slightly sour mixed berry jelly, topped with luscious peach, lush Chantilly cream and microgreens for that extra frill.
