THERE’S nothing like the introduction of a new menu to get tongues wagging. While we haven’t had chance to try it yet, Chef de cuisine Hugo Coudurier’s new menu at Fifty Five Restaurant (Centara Grand at CentralWorld) is generating lots of buzz, mainly for its adherence to classic French recipes and focus on seasonal ingredients. Among the options we intend to sample soon: Warm asparagus with Scottish smoked salmon and crème fraiche vinaigrette; Butter-roasted French frog legs with garlic and tomato; and Striploin steak covered with seasonal mushrooms, and cream of mustard sauce.
