SINCE setting up at Checkinn 99 pub and restaurant two years ago, the weekly Jazz On Sukhumvit jam sessions (every Sun from 2pm-6pm) have become a real institution. Local and international artists (including some of the city's finest jazz musicians) take turns showcasing their skills and, for regular punters, this means great music and a lively atmosphere – the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We've been told Checkinn 99 will host its second annual Jazz Day Fest in November, so expect more info in next month's issue.
