THE owner and chef of the world’s highest two Michelin starred restaurant (which, fact fans, is located in the stunning mountain ski resort of Val Thorens, 2300 metres above sea level), is taking a break from his eponymous culinary home to come to Bangkok and showcase his cuisine at La Scala, The Sukhothai Bangkok. Expect to find the finest examples of Savoyard cuisine – the traditional cuisine of the Alps – including high quality cheese, fresh fish and juicy fruits. Set lunch and dinner menus will be available, ranging in price from B3,200++ for food only, to B7,000++ paired with wine. Reservations are essential.
