HELD over two weekends and split between 50km and 100km off-road distances, the Thailand Ultramarathon is perfect for any experienced athlete looking for their next big challenge. Each course begins and ends in the Shan tribal village of Ban Tham (on the main Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son road, just a few kilometers from the Burmese border) and takes in lots of stunning scenery. Not fit enough to run? Don’t worry. Walkers are also welcome to join the event.
